Graduate Certificate In Public Relations

The Graduate Certificate Program in Public Relations explores public relations issues such as ethics, law, and influences on society. Students will also learn skills such as effective writing, working with the news media, and building relationships with target audiences.

The Graduate Certificate Program in Public Relations is designed to meet the needs of individuals who need systematic formal education in public relations. Course cover public relations issues such as ethics, law, and influences on society. Students will also learn skills such as effective writing, working with the news media, and buildin relationships with target audiences, as well as graphic design and printing terminology and processes, and desktop publishing skills. The program emphasizes integrated marketing communication and is intended for individuals who are currently working in a public relations department or firm, and small business owners or nonprofit managers who cannot afford a public relations department or the services of a public relations firm, and need to learn how to provide public relations services to their organization. The program is also suitable for individuals who are contemplating a career change.
