Recent studies have shown that managers and supervisors only perform at 60% of their potential because they spend the remainder of their time on unproductive tasks. Supervisors today must have more than just exceptional technical knowledge in their industry. They need the interpersonal skills necessary to manage a diverse workforce, coach and mentor employees to perform to their potential, and learn the balance of delegating versus doing. They must know how to manage conflict, use the performance appraisal process as a means to improve and maximize employee performance, and much more. The Supervisor Development Certificate Program provides new supervisors or existing managers with the essential skills and tools needed to be successful on the job.
The program meets one evening per week for 12 weeks from 6:00p.m. to 9:00p.m.
